Bucks May Ball, 9th May 2009

We woke up in a hotel in Chichester as we had played there the night before.
We didn't get much sleep.

Greyham and Adam looked amazing.
Mike wasn't happy, Mysti had kept him awake snoring all night.

On the way to Bucks we had to stop the van so Mysti could be sick. I think he had severe alcohol poisoning.

It was a nice area too, the people who lived in the houses behind weren't too impressed.

After Mysti stopped being sick we drove on to Buckinghamshire New University.
They had a nice room for us with leather sofas.

We had time to have a game of football.

They even had a fair ground but it wasn't working yet.

So Eggsy found a wheel barrow and made his own dodgems.

There was even time for a few pints in a nice country style pub.

Then it was time to do the gig. Some one went a bit nuts with the smoke machine.

At the end we had a stage invasion.

Maggot made friends and we hung out for a bit.

Then it was time to get in the van and drive back to Newport.
It was really cold on the way back.

University of Chichester, 8th May 2009

We were meant to meet up at 11 in the morning to go to Chichester to play a Uni ball.
As luck would have it half the boys didn't turn up till 12, by then the Slow Boat had opened. The Slow Boat do the best curry sauce in the world, there is nothing else like it.

It only took like two hours to get to Chichester so we were well early but it didn't matter cause it had turned into a really nice day. We had time to play some football.

Eggsy and Greyham tried to set up some camping equipment.

There was time for a few games of pool.

And there was even time for a spot of sun bathing.

All the hanging about made Adam go a bit nuts.

He put a bin on his head.

Then ripped his way out of it.

At last it was time to do the gig.

After some of the boys went outside to smoke and met this lady, she told the boys she has very long vaginal lips and it looks like she has a penis.

DJ Luck and MC Neat were meant to be DJing after we had played but they didn't turn up for some reason so we went on and played some tunes.

Eggsy got on the mic.

The crowd loved the tunes.

We even had a prize for the best dancer.

Greyham had a loverly time.

And Eggsy made some new friends too.

Then we went off to a hotel to stay the night as we were playing in Bucks the following night.

Rhys and Eggsy DJ, Iron Works, Oswestry 3rd May 2009

Eggsy and I were Djing in the Iron Works in Oswestry.
We drove up and trusted the sat-nav and it worked.
We ended up meeting some people in a hotel and they then took us round the corner and down this dark alley way.
We went into this club and up the stairs and there was this amazing room.
There was this band playing, they looked like an American college band.

Then the sax player did "bullet in the head" by Rage Against the Machine.
The drummer was well safe, he took his top off too.

Then we went on and played some records, these are some of the girls.

It was going off.

I made friends.

And so did Eggsy.

It was pretty wild.

This is Hanna, she is nuts. I played "we are the world" as the last song and she sang all the words on the mic.

After we all went out side and hung out like school break time.

Then even later we went to get some high quality food products. Unfortunately we couldn't find any as it was so late so we went here to Pizza Bella (don't let the name fool you).

They had various machines to torture food and try to make it look good for human consumption. I was really unsure about it.

I got chips with cheese, I was told once that chips are cooked in fat at 400 degrees and that should kill anything. I thought tonight that might include me so i didn't eat much.

I left Eggsy in his room about three thirty with his Hawaiian burger.
He looked so happy.

He didn't look like that when i woke him up at ten the next morning.

We had an awesome night out, thanks to Matt Dyke. Oswestry is a wonderful place, go there but take a snack with you.

Afan FM 1st May 2009

Eggsy and were going to Port Talbot to do a radio show on Afan FM.

Port Talbot is an amazing place, its by the sea.

They have a giant Wale and some Penguins too.

We got to Afan FM about one and met up with Hannah and Hash who are in charge.

Afan FM is an independent, not-for-profit community radio station that broad casts to the Neath and Port Talbot area. We are on 2 till 6 on Fridays.

We had so much fun and we did a competition called "Weirdo Club" which is a sci fi based quiz.
Then we walked back to the train station.

Eggsy and I shared a beer on the way home.

I love Fridays.
