November and December 2010

We have done a few things recently and what with all this going on and the Christmas album dropping I haven't had time to update the GLC blog.
So here is a quick one with some of the stuff what we have been up to.

We met up with the Mayor for some reason. Some dude wanted to take some snaps of us.
This is where the dudes who run Newport hang out.

They did some here too in the Civic Centre building hall way.

Then they took us to town and snapped us with golf balls. Good times.

On the 7th October Eggsy and I hosted the Voice Magazine awards in a disused shop in John Frost Square in Newport.

Grayham T Bear did the DJing. We won an award for something but Mike Balls went home before it was given out. He muttered something about chips and did a Batman.

We also filmed a few videos too. This is Jonny Lawrance. He was the DOP on the vids.

We filmed "Dubstep Christmas" at Mysti's house. lots of people thought it was a set but his place actually looks like this all year round.

Then we moved onto a manor house in Newport that is being renovated to film "You'll never be alone on Christmas day". It is an amazing place and part of it was on Doctor Who if you are a nerd you will love that (Grayham and Adam did).

Mike made an extra special effort with his out fit.

The next day we went to New Tredegar to film the second half of the video on green screen.
It was early.

Everyone was in high spirits or still drunk from the night before.

We had some great clothes to wear too.

We even found a nice pub that had food and football so all bases were covered.

We had a great crew and it was along day but a good one.

Eggsy and I have also done a few bits of DJing.
We also hosted this DJ battle for Red Bull in Cardiff.
This is Kissy Strange Love or some one, he was a judge.

We have also played a few other parties.

Rave on.

The south of England is a special place, you never know who or what you might meet on the way home.

And people love to party all over the country.

Even if they can't stand up.

Eggsy and I presented an award at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff for the Prince's Trust.
Chris Corcoran was there too and so was that woman off of Scrap Heap Challenge.

They were giving out some great food, small but great.

We also played at Cardiff's CIA.
And at the Christmas light switch on in Newport.
Eggsy and I hosted part of it.
This is Eggsy on the phone trying to find out where the other boys were as we were about to do one of the Christmas songs and they hadn't left the pub yet.
Eventually they turned up and we banged out "You'll never be alone on Christmas day", it was so cold.

We also hung out a bit with the Mayor.

Now it's Christmas.
GLC play at Bristol's The Fleece and Firkin on 11 December, Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on 16 December and the Camden Underworld in London on 18 December.

See you there.
