York Fibbers 17 October 2013

It was a new day and a new leg of the tour, we had to fill the van up but it kept spitting the fuel back out. The other people filling up were a bit shocked at how much cussing was coming from our driver, he was pretty vexed.
We slammed it into fifth gear and went straight to the services.
Then we stopped at another one.
Mike Balls had spent over 40 quid trying to win a second rate tablet with wifi capabilities.
He didn't win here either.
Eventually we arrived in York, we were late and a bit worse for wear.
The place was nice and had the seats from the front of a Starbucks.
The promoter was well safe and invited us back to his gaff to have a heap of Mexican style food.
It was lush.
He had all sorts of hot sauces. Billy went straight in and rubbed it on his bum hole, he figured it was going to sting anyway so he would cut out the middle man.
Back at the venue Mike amused himself with an hilarious game of pretending the door was locked, shame he is only 7 stone, it didn't really work too well for him.
We did a quick sound check.
Then me, Adam and Tom went to try some local ale.
Back at the dressing room Graham had discovered the side door which lead directly to the pavement outside.
Soon we ended up on the pavement with some of the people who had traveled as far as 30 miles to see us play.
Then we got ready to do a show.
 It was good.
And the crowd had a good time too.
Maggot got so excited that he had an accident and he cut his finger too.
After the gig Mike felt truly triumphant.
This guy was off his tits.
We went and met some of the crowd who didn't seem to want to go home.
Eggsy ruined a CD for some of them.
And out side Adam and Mike had a picture with some random passers by.
Me and Maggot had a picture.
And I tried to fix up maggots bleeding finger, all I could find was an eye patch, It had to do.
Then we had a few more snaps.
By then Killer Tomato and Maggot had written on the lady with blue eyes.
It had been a good gig.
No one was feeling the effect of the hot sauce and Billy felt lucky he had gone straight in for the kill.
Thanks York!

SWN Radio 13th Ocober 2013

We had been invited to DJ on SWN Radio.
It was going to be like the old days.
The station was set up in a hi street shop in Cardiff, which is only 20 minutes down the road from Newport.
They took our photo in case anything went missing.
And then we did some talking and played some records.
Brad from Tiny Rebel brewery came in for a chat about ale and beer.
We did a Goldie Lookin Ale with them in October and it was well nice.
Then Matt and Paul came in from Diverse in Newport to tell us about their top 5 all time favourite singles on coloured vinyl.
After we had talked beer and records a band called the Lovely Walls came in to play some music they made when they were in sixth form.
Eggsy quite likes teen angst music and he gave them the thumbs up.
It was nice to be back on the radio, even if it was only for a bit.

Gloucester Guild Hall 12th October 2013

Graham looked like he was in pain when we finally got him up.
We had a long way to travel and in preparation he had stayed up most of the night.
The hotel was right next to a pub that was sorting out the breakfast.
 It was adequate.
After we had waited for the party boys to have their dirty fry up we all got on the bus. Mike put his headphones on, listened to transcendental jazz folk reggae, went a bit yellow, and went back to sleep.
Graham was also looking a little worse for wear, his eyes were about to fall out.
After about 20 minutes we stopped.
Hopwood Park, it's got it all.
Maggot had a big tea though it wasn't the biggest he had had on the tour. He was also getting stamps for a free big tea which made him very happy.
After another seven hours we got to Gloucester and parked up by the bins.
Not just coz we are GLC but mainly coz the bus wouldn't lock.
Some of the boys went for a walk around the town, it's like a posh Newport.
Billy took us to a local pub and made us talk about rugby to some of the locals.
Then we did sound check and went to another local pub for ale and food.
I properly upset the guy in the background of this picture for using a flash.
 Maggot had a massive pie.
And Billy had a dead fish, they even cooked it for him.
Back at the venue they had got the back drop up. We have two back drops like this, a big one and a small one. Someone left the small one in Swansea (not naming names) so we had to make do with the big one. It nearly worked.
In the dressing room the boys were getting up to all sorts of fun.
We were ready to smash it, even Dipper Nan had come down.
 The gig was good.
It looked quite good too apparently.
After, Eggsy went to meet some people.
And Adam joined in the fun.
 I even got involved.
 It was a great night!
Two of the fans had been so excited that they had a civil partnership that day in honor of the gig, they were very happy.
Gloucestershire was well safe, we hope to come again.
